1. Test the intended position and confirm that the strap reaches both surfaces without excessive tension.
2. Remove dust, grease and moisture from both mounting areas.
3. Dry both surfaces completely before applying the adhesive.
4. Remove the protective backing and attach the first adhesive base.
5. Attach the second base to the opposite surface with the strap correctly positioned.
6. Press both adhesive bases firmly across their entire surfaces.
7. Allow the adhesive to set before tensioning or testing the strap.
8. Close the lock and test it gently before relying on it.

To close the lock, insert the locking end into the opposite base until it is secured. To open it, operate the release mechanism and separate the movable end. Close the lock immediately after using the drawer or cabinet whenever the contents are unsuitable for children.
